I took this photo last year for a college photography class. I go to Shawnee State University, and the cemetery where the photo was shot is a few miles from the school. The photo's title, "Overlooked," has a double meaning: The solider looking down on the grave of a deceased soldier, and the fact that simultaneously so many people overlook our military and our soldiers... especially our fallen soldiers. The photograph honors our American veterans because it teaches us not to forget them and that they are not overlooked
