بالاخره پس از حرف و حدیثهای فراوان در مورد عرضه این لنز به بازار ، دو سه روزی است که این لنز در بلاد کفر (اروپا و امریکا) به بازارها راه یافته است .

سایت آمازون قیمت را در امریکا 1500$ ذکر کرده و در انگلستان قیمت حدود 900 پوند ذکر شده است .

شواهد از کیفیت اپتیکی بسیار خوب لنز حکایت می کنند . ظاهرا رقیب خوبی برای DA* 50-135 خواهد بود .

Sharpness
Wide-open performance for the Pentax 60-250mm is very good generally, and between 80-200mm, excellent. Our copy of this lens was slightly de-centered towards the bottom of the frame, evident at ƒ/4. At 60mm and 250mm we note some corner softness, but the sweet spot of sharpness is fairly generous at 60mm. At 250mm at ƒ/4 the lens doesn't provide tack-sharp results, but it's still exceptional: just above 2 blur units......

Conclusion
Optically, the Pentax 60-250mm ƒ/4 is a winner: with excellent results for sharpness, even wide open, low amounts of CA and virtually no light falloff or distortion, it's an easy decision if you're already considering this lens and just needed to know whether or not it performed

یه روز سیگل بودم صحبت شد ... طرف گفت به جای 135-50 بیا 250-60 بگیر. منم به فکر انداخت...

ولی اف 2.8 135-50 نسبت به اف 4 این تازه وارد جای فکر داره. شخصاً 135-50 پنتاکس رو چیزی معادل 200-70 کنون میدونم. که با رویکردی به پرتره طزاحی شده
ولی به نظرم 250-60 بیشتر یک لنز تله عمومی باشه که یک نیم نگاهی به حیات وحش داره. بابت 135 تا 250 حدود 500 دلار اضافه باید داد که میشه باهاش یک فلاش درست و حسابی خرید و پرتره رو ارتقا داد.
قیمتش هم که 1.450 الان.

Verdict
The Pentax SMC DA* 60-250mm f/4 ED [IF] SDM is a highly desirable long tele zoom lens with only minor weaknesses (except QC maybe). It is very sharp through its range and even the secondary aspects such as distortions, vignetting and lateral CAs are well controlled. While not formally tested the high quality of the bokeh (out-of-focus blur) seems to be a differentiator compared to similar lenses - long tele zoom lenses are often problematic here. The build quality is exceptionally high and up to pro standards. The AF operates virutally silent and fast (although not blazingly speedy). All-in-all a sound offer albeit a somewhat pricey one.

و ظاهرا این روند افزایش قیمت ها همچنان ادامه دارد.
