مژده به علاقمندان لنزهای اولترا واید.

قدرت انتخاب داره زیاد می شه. برای اونایی كه مثل من نه به كنن 22-10 و نه به سیگما 20-10 علاقه ندارند شاید این لنز جدید قابل تفكر باشه :

Conclusion
There's no denying that with a focal range of 10-24mm, the Tamron lens is the current champ of ultra-wide range (the Canon 10-22mm comes in second). Its optical performance is very good: nice and sharp at 10mm, except in the extreme corners and good tolerance to CA (again, except in the corners). Distortion is a little high - fairly typical for wide-angle lenses - and corner shading is a bit high, as well. Both of these can be solved in post-processing, though.

With a price point lower than its existing ultrawide 11-18mm, the Tamron 10-24mm is an attractive proposition, offering good performance and exceptional value in the same package.

چند وقتیه که هوس یک اولترا واید به سرم زده (البته فقط هوس است)

نیکون 24-10 که فعلا ً قیمتش نجومی است و تازه با همان قیمت هم هنوز در ایران دیده نشده!
اما مشابه تامرونیش ....

در آخر لینکی که پیام حمزه ای عزیز گذاشته,به عنوان نتیجه گیری برتری را با سیگما 20-10 دانسته

Conclusion:
Judging by my two copies, Sigma is a clear winner. It's overall sharpness is better then Tamrons, far better on corners and better in the center. CA appears to be similar, but Sigma is still ahead slightly. Tamron is brighter, has less vignette and has easier distortion to fix. Tamron has a bit longer range, is a bit brighter, costs less, weights less, but I'm not sure those factors overpower the clear image quality advantage Sigma showed? Not for me anyhow.. If you're thinking about buying one of these wide lenses, or any lens for that matter, try to test and compare your copies yourself if you can. One copy can really be totally different then another

I've received some images from a friend overseas, who has tested his copy of the Tamron lens. His results were A LOT better. I talked with our distributer and we have concluded the copy they got is a really bad one. So, I'm awaiting a new copy and as soon as it arrives I'll do another test and comparison with Sigma. Stay tuned

* Low distortion
* Generally good resistance to flare

* Soft wide open (low local contrast)
* Soft corners at all focal lengths and apertures
* Wide diameter lens hood takes up lots of space in a bag

Pros

* well-made body with a metal bayonet,
* excellent performance at the center of the frame at 10 mm,
* good performance at the center of the frame for longer focal lengths (apart from the maximum aperture),
* small chromatic aberration for the range 17-24 mm,
* well-corrected astigmatism,
* vignetting small, compared to competitors,
* good work against bright light,
* accurate autofocus.

Cons

* poor image quality at the edge of the frame,
* big chromatic aberration for the combination of maximum aperture and the shortest focal length,
* visible coma,
* autofocus too slow for this range of focal lengths

Cons:

Sharpness is not really what I am expecting but is good enough. The Tamron 10-24mm is not designed for fullframe, only for APS-C sensors. As for the price, it’s still a bit costly at around Php 23K+

Pros:

This lens is a good alternative for an ultra-wide, especially if you are a Nikon user in which Nikkor ultra-wides are insanely expensive. For an ultra-wide, chromatic aberration and lens flare is almost non-existent. The Tamron 10-24mm Di II is a capable lens for those who like to shoot landscapes or needing an alternative 3rd party ultra-wide lens
