Puzzle Macro
As most of you guessed, this is squashed oil, water and blue ink in a glass pot placed on matte glass table, lightning from below. Quite difficult to get a proper image; I was close to abandon the idea when I realized that more water was needed + it should be squashed quite strongly in order to get nice bubbles. This is the best image from like 500 photos I've made that day.
Editing: quite simple, raw conversion then curves, levels, color balance, spot editing and cloning, usm and save for web.

I used Scotch Magic tape for my subject. The tape was folded into loops. Creating a beehive looking puck. I used scissors, to create some cut edges. Camera was on a tripod. Tape was placed on a piece of glass. A blue LED light was used, to bottom light the tape from three angles. Raised sharpness, raised black in curves, resized and converted to jpg for web use.
