Invited guests to the conference hoped to see, even with a preproduction version of the EOS-1D and X. It turned out that the only pre-production samples of the camera, in an amount just six units, located in London. For the Polish versions of the test are expected until early next year. Thus, taking into account the huge interest in this camera, and the likely delays in production, there soon will be able to read it. At a conference about the new EOS-ie not learned anything more than what they contain press releases that have been published today in the news. At present we can only loosely discuss the future of a series of 1D and ask yourself whether the version of X connects permanently 1D and 1Ds series, or perhaps preparing Canon EOS studio with more pixels.
On one hand, reducing the number of pixels with 21 million to 18 million in the flagship model is consistent with the philosophy, which we mentioned at the outset of this text, which Canon, as you can see, it tries to fulfill both the simplest segment and in the most advanced SLR cameras. On the other hand extremely hard to believe that Canon will forgive the competition in the lucrative market for studio photography. Such behavior would be even more confusing if we take into account the recent rumors that say that Nikon is preparing premiere full frame DSLR with a resolution of as many as 36 million pixels. Of course, you may be wondering how to connect a Nikon bayonet relatively narrow and demanding, packed pixel matrix can handle in the corners of full frame and how the image quality will be the medium format. For Canon, however, in this situation, good solutions can not be. For a company that will be yet indifferent to flee photographers who studyjni, it will be important that they can recognize the value of 18 million pixels to be insufficient. Can it be, in fact, do not know. However, there is a risk, because of the enormous curiosity we observed the development of this segment.
In conclusion, we present a few photos from today's meeting and would like to thank Canon Poland for the invitation to the conference.
